April 24, Fineko/abc.az. Training and educational programs will be strengthened to support Central Bank's work on risk management and improving Basel standards.

ABC.AZ informs that Zakir Nuriyev, the president of the Association of Banks of Azerbaijan, noted that more active participation of banks in the securities market will be ensured, as well as enhanced cooperation and synergy between various segments of the financial sector.

"In addition, development of insurance, securities and fintech markets, the introduction of open banking and the improvement of payment systems are identified as priority areas. It is also planned to expand cybersecurity measures and strengthen international cooperation in this area," ABA head added.
