April 17, Fineko/abc.az. The Customs Service of the State Revenue Committee and the Ministry of Economy of Armenia have released data on goods imported from November 2025 to April 15, 2026 through the territory of Azerbaijan, as well as directly from Azerbaijan.
ABC.AZ informs with reference to Armenpress that a total of 26,295 tons of cargo were transported through the territory of Azerbaijan from Russia and Kazakhstan to Armenia for the reported term.
"26,295 tons of goods were delivered from the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan to Armenia through the territory of Azerbaijan and 9,337 tons of fuel were imported from Azerbaijan," the report says.
The statement stresses that "the results of regional cooperation and peace are already being felt and are creating new opportunities for economic development".
According to the Customs Service, the first transit railway transportation through the territory of Azerbaijan was carried out on November 6, 2025. 24,865 tons of wheat, 1,362 tons of fertilizers and 68 tons of buckwheat were imported from Russia and Kazakhstan.
In addition, from December 2025 to April 15, 2026, 9,337 tons of fuel were imported from Azerbaijan to Armenia through Georgia. Of theme, 5,398 tons accounted for diesel fuel (for $4.3 million) and 3,939 tons for gasoline (for $2.9 million).
