April 14, Fineko/abc.az. There are 80,000 women farmers in Azerbaijan. The same number of women are land users.

ABC.AZ reports that Gulbeniz Ganbarova, the chairman of the Rural Women's Association of Azerbaijan, said this today at the international conference on the theme "Strengthening Women's Voices for Sustainable Development in the CICA Space" in Baku, organized by the Conference on Interaction & Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA).

She added that simplifying business registration, expanding e-services, and ensuring women's access to financial resources are the main goals for the future. Women working in the household should participate as full-fledged economic actors.

Ganbarova also drew attention to the collective women's business in the villages. She noted that women's collective business is becoming widespread in the regions: "Under this model, women, working together, produce more, sell and earn income. As their business expands, they also provide jobs for other women living in the village. So far, 780 women have secured employment based on this model."
