March 13, Fineko/abc.az. The population living in the occupation-liberated districts of Azerbaijan is approximately 75,000 people by the end of 2025.

ABC.AZ informs that Prime Minister Ali Asadov stated about this during his today’s speech at Milli Majlis.

The PM said that the State Budget allocated 22 billion manats for reconstruction and restoration of the territories liberated from occupation in 2020-2025. In 2026, 3.5 billion manats were allocated for these purposes. Thus, a total of 25.5 billion manats were allocated from the State Budget, including this year.

Asadov noted that at the same time, large-scale mine clearance operations are continuing in the liberated territories. In 2025, 69,200 hectares were cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance, and since 2020, almost 249,000 hectares of liberated territories have been cleared. In 2026, it is planned to clear more than 65,000 hectares of land from mines.
