November 14, Fineko/abc.az. The State Customs Committee (SCC) has published the number of motor vehicles imported for Jan-Oct 2017.

The SCC reports that quantity of cars imported for the first 10 months of 2017 increased by 86% up to 8 102 motor vehicles against 4 349 ones for the 2016 same term.

"Among them are 7 098 automobiles, 795 trucks, 148 buses, and 61 special purpose vehicles. Thus, the number of imported automobiles increased by 88%, trucks by 89.7%, buses by 97%, while import of special-purpose equipment decreased by 23.7%," the Committee said.
