December 17, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan plans to provide subsidies to dairy producers in order to reduce production costs.

ABC.AZ informs that Advisor to the Minister of Agriculture Zaur Aliyev made this statement during a public hearing on the theme "Existing problems in milk and meat production and assessment of the impact on food security".

According to Aliyev, as a result of preliminary discussions with relevant organizations, it was agreed to start providing food subsidies to dairy producers as early as 2026: "The subsidies will be aimed mainly at partial compensation of production costs in large full-cycle livestock farms and will increase the financial stability of the sector."
