December 17, Fineko/abc.az. The application of artificial intelligence (AI) by the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan in the agricultural sector will bring successful results and make a significant contribution to the sustainable development of this sector.

ABC.AZ informs that Azerbaijan’s MP Tahir Rzayev stated this at the final event in Baku dedicated to agribusiness festivals.

The MP noted that attracting investments in the agro-industrial sector, expanding the launch of new products to domestic and foreign markets, and strengthening business ties between farmers and entrepreneurs are among the main goals of these events and should be highly appreciated: “Today, ensuring farmers' access to innovative approaches and modern technologies, achieving high productivity for entrepreneurs and strengthening market ties are among the main demands of the time. Presenting high-quality products and practical experience of local producers to a wide audience, informing the public about the prospects for the development of private seed production, as well as government support in providing seed subsidies are the main goals.”

Rzayev noted that a farmer should know exactly how to calculate the resources he uses, the cost of production and the selling price, as well as correctly determine how to generate income.

"For this, they should provide facts on the basis of scientific evidence, information and practical recommendations. The positive results achieved thanks to modern technologies and advanced methods in the agro-industrial sector should be researched and explained in an accessible form," he added.
