December 4, Fineko/abc.az. (special news) From the moment of its establishment to the present, the Agrarian Insurance Fund has carried out agricultural insurance payments for totally 20 million manats.

ABC.AZ informs that Ali Ahmadov, Fund's press secretary, told ABC.AZ that payments began in 2001, when 200,000 payments were made.

2.4 million manats were paid in 2022, 4.4 million manats in 2023, 6.4 million manats in 2024 and 5.3 million manats in the first 10 months of 2025: "But only in November, these large payments reached 1.5 million manats. That is, taking into account all this, the total payments of our fund exceeded 20 million manats. It is expected that another 1.5 million manats will be paid by the end of the year."

The Fund recently made a large payment to a farmer in Khachmaz. Thus, an insurance payment of 720,000 manats was paid to the owner of the garden affected by the frosts.
