November 19, Fineko/abc.az. GDP growth is fully supported by the development of the non-oil/gas sector.

ABC.AZ reports that Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said this during the discussion of the Bill on State Budget 2026 at today’s parliament plenary session.

He pointed out that taking into account the expected growth rates in 2025, GDP is expected to grow by an average of 3.3% per year from 2022 to 2025, which is within the range (3-4%) defined by the strategy. GDP growth is fully supported by development of the non-oil/gas sector, with average annual GDP growth in this sector expected to be 6.1%, which is 1.1 percentage points higher than the target set by the Socio-Economic Development Strategy for 2022-2026 (5%).
