September 2, Fineko/abc.az. An increase in regional renewable energy flows could help Azerbaijan mitigate risks associated with the energy transition, according to ABC.AZ, which cites Moody’s report.

“Growth in regional trade, improved relationships, and ongoing reforms in the energy sector are opening new opportunities for investment in solar and wind energy. This will enhance energy security and reduce social risks. For hydrocarbon-producing countries such as Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan, expanding the use of renewable energy will accelerate the adoption of cleaner energy sources,” the report states.
