August 22, Fineko/abc.az. In January-June of this year, about 139.2 million kWh of electricity were exported from Azerbaijan to Turkey.

According to ABC.AZ, based on data from the State Statistics Committee, revenue from this volume of electricity exports amounted to $8.8 million.

Compared to the same period last year, electricity exports to Turkey decreased by 280.9 million kWh, or 3 times, in volume terms, and by $17.9 million, or 3 times, in value terms. It should be noted that in January-June 2025, a total of 679.8 million kWh of electricity worth $38.5 million was exported from Azerbaijan to four countries – Russia, Georgia, Iran, and Turkey. During the reporting period, 79 million kWh of electricity worth $3.2 million were imported into Azerbaijan from Russia, Georgia, and Iran.
