August 14, Fineko/abc. az. The massive harvest of grain and leguminous crops is nearing completion.
As of August 12, 2025, the harvest of autumn and spring grain and leguminous crops (excluding corn) has been completed on a plot of 924,400 hectares (98.4% of the planned harvest of 939,100 hectares), ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Statistics Committee
2,971,800 tons of grain were harvested from the fields, crop yield was 32.1 quintals. 1,582,800 tons, or 53.3% of ordinary wheat, 1,349,900 tons (45.4%) – barley, 39,100 tons (1.3%) – other grains and legumes.
The harvest of grain and leguminous crops (excluding corn) has been fully completed in 26 districts of the republic, more than 90% of the surveyed areas have been harvested in 30 districts, and less than 90.0% has been harvested in other districts.
The highest crop yield was in Hajigabuli (51.4 quintals per hectare), Agjabedi (44.4%), Sabirabad (43.6), Samukh (43.1), Salyan (42.3), Barda (42.2), Aghdam (41.8), Tovuz (40.9), Saatli (40.2), Terter (39.7) and Imishli districts (39.5).
Most of the total grain and leguminous products (excluding corn), compared with other districts, were produced in Jalilabad (229,800 tons), Sheki (173.2 tons), Agjabedi (154.3 tons), Fuzuli (138.9 tons), Kurdamir (121,500 tons), Hajigabul (107.5 tons. ton), Bilasuvar (98,000 tons) and Ismailli districts (95,700 tons).
