July 25, Fineko/abc.az. In June 2025, the volume of Russian grain sales decreased by 34.5% to 2.806 million tons.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to Rosstat, that since the beginning of the year, 21.5 million tons have been sold (32.9% less versus June 2024). Experts explain the decline by the fact that in June farms sold off the remains of the harvest, while the grain of the new harvest has not yet gone on sale.

Despite the drought in the southern regions, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation expects a gross grain harvest of 135 million tons, which will meet domestic needs and maintain export potential at the level of 53-55 million tons. As of July 23, 11.4 million hectares of grain have been threshed, and 37.4 million tons harvested.
