July 9, Fineko/abc.az. Wide opportunities have been created for entrepreneurs in Khankendi, Aghdere and Khojaly districts. Existing buildings in cities and districts, in accordance with the law, are leased to entrepreneurs on the basis of appeals. To date, 474 facilities have been leased to entrepreneurs in Khankendi, Aghdere and Khojaly districts. Facilities for various purposes have started operating in the region. To date, investors have invested approx.45.5 million manats in these territories.

ABC.AZ informs that Sabukhi Gahramanov, President’s Deputy Special Representative in Khankendi, Aghdere and Khojaly districts, made the relevant statement during his speech at the special session of the IX meeting of heads of diplomatic service bodies in Khankendi on the topic "Azerbaijan's foreign policy after the restoration of sovereignty: priorities and challenges".

He added that close to 2,000 people are employed at the facilities that have started work. After the commissioning of other facilities under existing contracts, the number of jobs will reach 5,000: "Preferential mechanisms applied by the state in the territories liberated from occupation also play an important role in achieving economic success. Incentive mechanisms create conditions for attracting foreign investors, along with local ones, to the process of economic recovery in Karabakh. In this regard, we are also interested in cooperating with diplomatic missions abroad to inform foreign investors about the favorable conditions and incentive mechanisms created for investment activities in the occupation-liberated territories."
