June 21, Fineko/abc.az. Samsung is developing its own earthquake alert system, which, unlike Google's solution, offers advanced features.

ABC.AZ informs that a feature has been discovered in the beta version of One UI 8 that can warn users before aftershocks occur. Notifications are displayed on the full screen and accompanied by sound.

Additional features include a preview of notifications, notification history, sensitivity settings, a list of nearby shelters, and emergency information for rescuers. Perhaps Samsung is targeting regions without access to Google services, such as China.
