June 13, Fineko/abc.az. A new national park is being created in Khankendi, Shusha, Aghdere and Khojaly.

ABC.AZ reports that the head of the working group on environmental issues, Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Vugar Kerimov made the baove-said statement at the next meeting of the Working Group on Environmental Issues.

He added that according to the Public Relations Department of the Rehabilitation, Construction & Management Service in Khankendi, Aghdere and Khojaly districts, the national park will cover an area of 100,000 hectares, and a map of the park has already been prepared.

"The map has been sent to the State Committee on Property Issues. The creation of a new park is planned before the end of this year," he emphasized.
