Renault's quarterly net profit to reduce by €2.2 bn because of Nissan's heavy loss

May 13, Fineko/abc.az. Renault's net profit will decrease by €2.2 billion in the 1st quarter of 2025 because of NIssan’s large loss.

ABC.AZ informs that Renault still owns 35.71% of Nissan shares, despite the gradual decline in the share.

Nissan's net loss for Jan-Mar 2025 was 676 billion yens ($4.6 billion).

The losses relate to write-offs and restructuring announced in April 2025.

Renault's financial statements for the 1st half of the year will be published on July 31.
