May 12, Fineko/abc.az. Every year, Azerbaijan records a rapid increase on non-cash payments made with the use of bank cards.

Thus, for Jan-Mar 2025, the volume of non-cash transactions within the country reached 20.6 billion manats.

ABC.AZ reports that the indicator is 27.2% or 4.4 billion manats more versus Jan-Mar 2024.

In the 1st quarter of 2021, the volume of non-cash payments in the country amounted to only 2.08 billion manats. This means that the figure for Q1 of this year increased 9.9-fold compared with the 2024 same term four years ago, or by 18.52 billion manats.
