Inflation in Georgia reaches a 2-year high last month

April 3, Fineko/abc.az. The annual inflation rate in Georgia in March was 3.5%, reaching a two-year high.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the National Statistics Service of Georgia "Sakstat", that the formation of annual inflation was mainly influenced by changes in food prices. Food and non–alcoholic beverages rose in price by 6.6%, vegetables and melons – by 21.3%, oil and fats – by 15.4%, coffee, tea and cocoa - by 14.4%, etc.
