ABC.AZ reports that the company announced plans to invest $1 billion in Singapore over the next five years to accelerate the country's digital transformation and the adoption of Agentforce.

Agentforce can help “rapidly expand” the workforce into several key positions in the country's service sector and public sector, while Singapore struggles with an aging population and declining birth rates. Jermaine Loy, executive director of Singapore's Economic Development Council, welcomed Salesforce's investment, saying it would strengthen the country's efforts to “create a viable AI Innovation Hub”. Meanwhile, Marc Benioff, chairman and CEO of Salesforce, stated that they are entering an incredible new era of digital labor, when every business will be transformed by autonomous agents who complement the work of people, revolutionizing productivity and allowing every company to scale indefinitely.
