February 18, Fineko/abc.az. In January 2025, Azerbaijan imported 86,654.05 tons of wheat.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the State Customs Committee, that the cost of imported wheat in January was $18.695 million.

Compared with January 2024, growth was 24% and the cost growth was 15%.

In January 2024, our country imported 70,145.76 tons of wheat for $16.284 million.

The average statistical price per ton of imported wheat this year fell by 7.4%, or by $16, from $232 to $216.

Wheat import costs for January 2025 made up 0.91% of country’s total import costs.
