February 13, Fineko/abc.az. The fiscal charges (taxes and mandatory social payments) from the State Tax Service amounted to 22.8 billion manats in 2024.

ABC.AZ informs, quoting STS head Orkhan Nazarli as saying this at Baku forum "Tax Service - 25: Sustainable development & effective transformation".

According to Nazarli, the share of tax authorities in the total volume of fiscal revenues by the end of 2024 reached 77%, and budget revenues from the Tax Service exceeded 15.8 billion manats.

Nazarli also noted that the number of active taxpayers has increased 1.8-fold since 2019 and exceeded 800,000 at the beginning of 2025.
