February 5, Fineko/abc.az. Last year, the number of business entities that received preferential loans from the Entrepreneurship Development Fund increased by 74.7% agaijnst 2023 and reached 5,722, ABC.AZ reports, referring to Economy Minister of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov in his account on X.

"The majority of the financed projects - 94.7% - are in the regions. Entrepreneurs working in the liberated territories also use the mechanism of guaranteed subsidies. This mechanism stimulated implementation of various projects in industry, services, tourism and agriculture in Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur.

State support for entrepreneurship accelerates development of small and medium-sized businesses in our country, increasing employment and restoring economic activity in the liberated territories," the post says.
