 January 6, Fineko/abc.az. SOCAR Turkiye will produce eco-friendly aviation fuel.

ABC.AZ informs that SOCAR Turkiye CEO Elchin Ibadov made this statemenrt at a press conference devoted to SOCAR Turkiye and the group's companies.

He noted that the roadmap for the sustainable development of SOCAR Turkiye has been approved.

The CEO added that more than 10 projects in the field of sustainable development have been developed.

"The main goal is to produce eco-friendly aviation fuel. This fuel can be produced either from algae or from oils used at home. At that, research is being conducted in this direction," he added.

SOCAR is Turkey's largest foreign investor, which has invested a total of $18.5 bn in Turkey over 17 years.
