December 29, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev has approved the amendments to the Tax Code of Azerbaijan, adopted by Milli Majlis on December 16.

ABC.AZ informs that one of the important changes to the Tax Code aimed at reducing the tax burden on businesses and supporting entrepreneurial activity is application of zero VAT rate to ship repair services, other marine and water vehicles, as well as hydraulic structures that are provided by shipbuilding and ship repair enterprises commissioned by non-residents.

The application of this privilege will allow to form competitive prices for ship repair projects, establish close cooperation with customers, create new jobs and turn the country into a competitive ship repair center in the region.
