December 17, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Nov 2024, output for 1.95 billion manats was produced in Azerbaijan in the fields of chemical industry, pharmaceutical production, rubber and plastic products.

ABC.AZ was informed at the State Statistics Committee that compared with Jan-Nov 2023, manufacture of pharmaceutical products doubled, rubber and plastic products increased by 17.7%, and chemical industry products by 6%.

The production of urea from chemical industry products made up 48.2%, nitrogen 13.3%, methanol  5.1%, rubber and plastic products, except polyethylene, production of other plastic bags and bags 3-fold, plates, sheets of porous plastic mass 40.6%, production of plastic bottles, vials and similar products 23.1, production of bags and bags made of polyethylene by 16.5%.
