December 17, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Nov 2024, oil transportation through main oil pipelines in Azerbaijan decreased by 2.87% to 35.36 million tons.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that 75.9% of shipments were carried out through main export oil pipeline Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan (BTC) and for Jan-Nov 2024, oil transportation via this pipeline dropped by 2.9% to 26.8 million tons.

81.8%, or 21.94 million tons of oil transported by BTC during the period, was oil produced in Azerbaijan, and 18.2%, or 4.89 million tons, was oil from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.
