December 17, Fineko/abc.az. Over the last 5 years, Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover has more than doubled and reached $52 bn.

ABC.AZ informs that Assistant to the President, Head of the Department for Economic Affairs and Policy of Innovative Development of the Presidential Administration Shahmar Movsumov made this statement during his speech at the event "Customs Business Forum 2024: Dialogue".

He noted that due to simplification of customs procedures and elimination of bureaucratic barriers, more favorable opportunities have been created for domestic and foreign investors. 

"Transport corridors have increased Azerbaijan's transit capabilities and created significant opportunities for business entities. In particular, the transit time of goods from China to Europe along the Middle Corridor has been reduced to 8-10 days," the presidential aide said.
