November 26, Fineko/abc.az. German company ThyssenKrupp is to reduce 11,000 jobs in its steel production division.
ABC.AZ informs that it is planned to reduce the number of jobs in the ThyssenKrupp steel division from 27,000 to about 16,000 within six years. By the end of 2030, it is planned to cut 5,000 jobs and transfer another 6,000 to third-party service providers.
The company believes that personnel costs should be reduced by 10% in the next 10 years to a "competitive level of costs".
