November  25, Fineko/abc.az. Kazakhstan continues to discuss possible oil supplies via the Baku-Supsa route.

ABC.AZ informs that Kazakh Energy Minister Almassadam Satkaliev stated about this at a government session.

"The possibilities of the Baku-Supsa pipeline are being considered. The throughput capacity is 5 million tons per year, with possible supply volumes of up to 3 million tons per year. The use of this route is currently under development and discussion," Satkaliev said.

He added that the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) remains the most reliable route for Kazakh oil exports.

"Today, CPC is the most reliable and efficient route for Kazakh oil exports. Currently, there is technical capability to increase pumping volumes from 67 to 81.5 million tons/year, including the Kazakh section - from 53.7 to 72.5 million tons/year," he noted.
