November 15, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has defined Green Energy Zones as a key pilot project for national development.

ABC.AZ reports that Deputy Energy Minister Orkhan Zeynalov said this at the ministerial meeting on COP29 energy initiatives.

"We’ve launched pilot projects on creation of Green Energy Zones in Karabakh, Eastern Zangezur and Nakhchivan, which will become the basis for nationwide energy transition to net zero," he said.

At that, he pointed out the importance of support for these initiatives from investors and international financial organizations.
