November 15, Fineko/abc.az. The Baku International Sea Trade Port CJSC and Malaysian company Citiqlobal plan to sign a contract for the installation of a 5.4 MW solar-powered photovoltaic system.

ABC.AZ informs that BISTP CEO Taleh Ziyadov stated about this at the "COP29 Business, Investment and Philanthropy Climate Platform."

He said that the project aims to reduce carbon emissions, improve energy efficiency, and utilize renewable sources. Upon completion of the system installation, the port will receive "green" port status.
