November 14, Fineko/abc. az. The Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Digital Development & Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the European Investment Bank (EIB) has been signed in Baku today as part of the COP29 event.

ABC.AZ informs that the parties will cooperate with entire developments, a full assessment of the project for the renovation, expansion and modernization of the Baku metro network.

"This Memorandum of Understanding is a key step towards realizing our common vision of a greener and more sustainable Baku. The EIB will support the MDDT in development and implementation of an investment project that will reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve the quality of public transport in the city," said Teresa Czerwińska, Vice President at the EIB.
