 October 31, Fineko/abc.az. The newly-registered resident of the Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park will invest 10.2 million manats, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Elchin Kazimov, spokesman of the Economic Zones Development Agency.

He noted that Elba Chem CJSC with the joint capital of Azerbaijan and Türkiye received the status of a resident of the Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park, which is under the EZDA jurisdiction: "Thus, the number of residents of the industrial park has reached 41. The company envisages construction of a plant for production of potassium sulfate (fertilizers) with capacity of 10,000 tons a year on the territory of the industrial park."

"Within the project, the investment cost of which is 10.2 million manats, it is planned to create more than 50 jobs.

The products to be made at the enterprise will be sold to the domestic market and to be exported," Kazimov said.
