BP's underlying profit lowered by 31% year-on-year

October 29, Fineko/abc.az. The net profit of UK’s oil & gas company BP attributable to its shareholders in the 3rd quarter amounted to $206 million versus $4.86 billion a year earlier, thus decreasing almost 24-fold.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to company's report that for the past 9 months profit dropped 6.4-fold, to $2.34 billion.

BP's underlying profit, which the company calculates after deducting adjusted items and related taxes, decreased by 31% year-on-year in the third quarter and reached $2.267 billion. In 9 months, the indicator fell almost by 29%, to $7.75 billion

BP's revenue in the third quarter reached $48.33 billion, down 10%, and $146.5 billion in 9 months.
