October 25, Fineko/abc.az. Lithuania will begin dismantling power transmission lines with Russia and Belarus in the spring of 2025, ABC.AZ reports, referring to Litgrid, the operator of the Baltic Republic's electric grids.
"All lines in the Russian and Belarusian directions will be disconnected on February 8, when the agreement on electricity supply within the unified electric power system of Belarus, Russia, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania (BRALL) expires. Following this, the demolition of unnecessary infrastructure will begin in the spring," the operator says.
