October 24, Fineko/abc.az. Global pork and beef production has stopped, while poultry meat production continues to grow steadily.
ABC.AZ informs that this is stated in the latest report of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).
According to Dept’s forecasts, the global pork sector will also decrease by 0.8% to 115 million tons by 2025. Pork production in China, which accounts for almost half of global production, is expected to decline by 2.2%.
On the other hand, the U.S. is projected to expand pork production by 2.2%. In addition, this country will increase exports, especially to Mexico.
As for the poultry sector, the USDA expects stable global production growth of 1.8% by 2025. This will lead to the fact that the chicken meat sector will amount to about 105 million tons. On average, about 1 million tons of additional chicken meat entered the market annually last year.
