October 10, Fineko/abc.az. It is planned to provide support in the creation of new digital economy businesses in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that Fariz Jafarov, executive director of the Center for Analysis & Coordination of the IV Industrial Revolution (4SIM) under the Ministry of Economy, at the INMerge Innovation Summit in Baku, organized by PASHA Holding.

"As part of the digital economy, we plan to undergo digital transformation programs and support creation of new enterprises in the market. At that, when implementing a digital transformation program, companies mainly need more data infrastructure and human resources. Therefore, companies need people who specialize in this field," Jafarov said.

He added that another issue is to help the government manage data: "Because without a data–driven approach, it will be very difficult to respond to changes in business. So, you need to take quick steps to adapt to them. In this sense, education of Azerbaijani citizens is important. Now the former IDPs are returning to the liberated territories, and we must give them digital skills."
