Azerbaijan and Brazil sign memorandum of understanding on climate partnership

October 10, Fineko/abc.az. A memorandum of understanding on climate partnership has been signed between Azerbaijan and Brazil.

ABC.AZ informs that the agreement was signed in Baku within the preliminary UN Conference of the Parties on Climate Change (PRE-COP29).

The document was signed by the chief negotiator of COM 29 Yalchin Rafiev and Brazilian Deputy FM Minister for Climate, Energy and Environment Andre Correa do Lago.

The purpose of the memorandum is to develop cooperation between Azerbaijan, where COP 29 will be held, and Brazil, which will host COP30, to promote global climate initiatives and sustainable development.
