October 9, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan numbered 4,575 enterprises in 2023.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that the largest number of enterprises is located in Baku – 2,687.

After Baku, the city of Sumgait became the 2nd (248), and Absheron -3rd (247). The city of Ganja with 122 enterprises took the 4th place. And 69 enterprises operated in Zagatala last year.

The lowest figures were recorded in the territories liberated from occupation. Among them are such districts as Khojaly (1), Gubadli (2), Zangelan, Kelbajar (4 each), Shusha, Khojavend (5 each).
