October 4, Fineko/abc.az. In 2023, the number of enterprises engaged in the production of medicines and medical devices reached 22.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that the figure is 2 enterprises (10%) more against 2022.

All these businesses were in the private sector. The number of individual entrepreneurs registered to carry out industrial activities grew by 3 people or by 30% up to 13.

The cost of this type of product (works, services), the current prices of the relevant years, compared with 2022, increased by 5 million manats (29%) to 21.1%.

The industrial production index decreased from 97.8% to 92.4%.
