September 30, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijani government has so far allocated about 18 billion manats or more than $10 billion for reconstruction work in the Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur economic regions.

ABC.AZ reports that Emin Huseynov, President’s Special Representative for the Aghdam, Fizuli and Khojavend districts, said about this at an international conference within the Baku Climate Action Week.

Huseynov noted that these funds are directed to projects for the restoration of various infrastructure, the development of the mining industry and other areas.

He also stressed the important role of the private sector in the reconstruction of the liberated territories.

"We are working very closely with the private sector, with civil society, which are really a key factor in rebuilding these areas together with the government," he said.
