August 28, Fineko/abc.az. The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and the Uniper SE, German multinational energy company, are exploring opportunities to enhance their strategic partnership across various energy-related topics.

According to ABC.AZ, citing SOCAR, the issue was discussed at a meeting between SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf and Uniper SE Board Member and Chief Commercial Officer Carsten Poppinga.

The parties highlighted the successful implementation of their agreement on the purchase and sale of natural gas from the Shah Deniz field.

They also discussed expanding cooperation in gas supply.

Beyond the oil and gas sector, the discussion included potential collaboration in energy transition, improving energy efficiency, and other areas of mutual interest.
