August 28, Fineko/abc.az. Ukraine does not intend to extend the gas transit agreement with Russia, which expires at the end of 2024. In case of a request from Europe, Ukraine is ready to discuss gas transit from other suppliers through its gas transportation system, ABC.AZ reports.

"No one will extend the agreement with Russia; this matter is settled. Regarding gas transit from other companies, if there continues to be a request from some of our European colleagues, we will consider their request," President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said.
