July 18, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Jun 2024, Azerbaijan exported 48,234 tons of potatoes for  $20,470.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Customs Committee that compared with Jan-Jun 2023, potato exports decreased by $10,527 or 34% in value terms and by 22,794 tons or 32% in quantitative terms.

In 6 months of 2023, 71,028 tons of potatoes for $30,998 were exported from Azerbaijan.

Over Jan-Jun 2024, the average export price of 1 kg of potatoes reached 0.72 manats. For the 2023 same term, the export price of 1 kg of potatoes totaled 0.74 manats.

This year, potato exports accounted for 0.16% of Azerbaijan's total exports, and about 1.28% of non-oil exports.
