July 3, Fineko/abc.az. Supplies of Russian crude oil Urals to India in June updated the maximum, reaching 1.6 million b/d, ABC.AZ informs with reference to the review of analytical company Kpler.

The indicator increased by 13% by June 2023 and by 2.2% by May 2024, in which the previous record was set.

At that, in general, India's imports of Russian oil in June showed the second highest result in the entire history of observations — 2.13 million b/d. It was higher only in May 2023, in which it amounted to 2.15 million b/d.

"The volume is 2.13 million b/d. It is equivalent to the shipment of three Aframax tankers per day and accounts for 45% of all Indian imports," Kpler says in a review.
