June 6, Fineko/abc.az. BP is working on decarbonization at the Sangachal terminal.

ABC.AZ reports that the regional vice president of BP (Azerbaijan, Georgia and Türkiye) for development of gas and low-carbon energy, Katerina Papalexandri, said this at plenary discussion "Gas Dialogue: The Role of gas supplies in the energy crisis" on the second day of the Baku Energy Forum.

She added that BP is ready to start implementing a project related to solar energy, and this is one of the factors that will contribute to decarbonization.

The BP vice president noted that currently 79.5 million cu m of natural gas are produced daily at Shah Deniz field and this provides Azerbaijan, as well as the region and Europe with "blue" fuel.
