May 6, Fineko/abc.az. Last month, local-made Togg became the leader in the Turkish electric car market with more than 3,000 sales.

In the 1st quarter of the year, the share of Togg T10X in electric vehicle sales in the country was 35.29%, and last month it was 49.25%, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign press.

The Turks' preference for a domestic car was also observed in previous months.

It is obvious that Togg, which is starting to appear more and more on the streets of Türkiye every day, is of great interest to the citizens of the country.

In general, although the Turkish automotive market has been stagnating recently, electric vehicles are more preferred among the cars sold. Thus, compared with 2023, sales of cars of this type increased by 266.2%. In total sales, the share of all-electric vehicles grew from 2.2 to 9.9 percent, while the share of hybrid vehicles increased from 11.3 to 17.4 perecent.
