May 6, Fineko/abc.az. This April, the number of QR ticket users in the Baku metro increased by 44.8% compared with the previous month, ABC.AZ reports with reference to Baku Metro CJSC.

In April, 257,198 passengers applied to this payment method (in March – 177,567 passengers). According to statistical estimates, 8,573 passengers chose a ticket for the day (5,723 in March).

The May 28 metro station has maintained a record for passenger traffic for the month – 24,164 passengers. At Ganjlik metro station, which is in second place, the number of people paying in this way for the month exceeded 20,000 (21,455). The fare for QR tickets was recorded the most on the last day of April, and this is considered the highest figure in one day since the launch of the service – 12,107 passengers.
