April 29, Fineko/abc.az. Turkish company Birlik Deri, specializing in the production of leather products, is planning to develop activity in the Karabakh economic region of Azerbaijan, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Trade Representation at the Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Istanbul.
“On April 25, the Entrepreneur’s Day in Azerbaijan, a decision was made to grant Turkish company Birlik Deri the status of a resident of the Agdam Industrial Park in Karabakh,” the representative office said.
The statement notes that the first meeting with the owner of the Birlik Deri company, Burhan Demirses, at the Trade Representation took place on November 24, 2023, during which he announced company’s intention to take part in the restoration of Karabakh.
“The future activity of Birlik Deri in the Agdam Industrial Park will be a win-win model and will contribute to the development of the Karabakh region, employment of the returning population and increased socio-economic well-being,” the statement reads.
